Zydrunas Savickas, born on July 15, 1975 in Birzai, Lithuania, is a retired professional strongman competitor. Known as "Big Z," he is considered one of the greatest strongman athletes of all time, winning numerous competitions including the World's Strongest Man title four times (2009, 2010, 2012, 2014). Standing at 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing over 400 pounds, Savickas has set multiple world records in events such as the log press, deadlift, and yoke walk. Prior to his strongman career, he competed in the sport of basketball at a professional level in Lithuania. Savickas has also competed in powerlifting and has achieved impressive results in various international competitions. Throughout his career, he has been known for his incredible strength, technique, and sheer dominance in the world of strongman competitions, solidifying his legacy as one of the most successful strongman athletes in history.
